August, 2011 - - Have Your Say!
Your Board of Directors takes the image of our league seriously. As such, we have developed a Uniform Policy as everyone is aware by now...
June, 2011 Too old for Oldtimers? Still want to play but looking something that better fits your age and skill level? Something more your pace?
BOSL is wondering how you feel about potentially introducing a two-tiered League. At this point we are just gauging the interest level. Such a change would likely result in a 12 team/4 team breakdown that would be based on a combination of age and skill level. Let us know what you think...

Last year it was noted that at this time of year, with the sun setting earlier and earlier Diamond "C" became harder to play on as it got closer to 7:30 - 8pm on Friday night. For this year, there are two other options, start the game 1/2 hour earlier (at 6pm), or not use Diamond "C" and have a third game played at 9:30pm. on Diamond "B", (or leave it starting at 6:30pm on "C"). Not knowing what teams this will effect until the pod selections are done at the Captains' meeting on September 6th, we have decided to put this question on the web site as a Poll Question. Please register your vote, majority will rule. Captains, if the result is to start at 6pm, make sure your players are aware. If players can't get there in time from work, they should vote accordingly.
The poll will close at 8pm on Wednesday, September 8th.

During Tournaments, we use game score +/- for tie-breaking purposes. Currently we cap this at 8, meaning a team can’t win or lose by more than 8 runs. Having the maximum set at 8 means that a team you're tied with can’t be overtaken if the +/- is already over 8. (there would still be the 8 run mercy rule per inning).
We’ve had a suggestion to change the maximum number of runs that are counted for the +/- of a game, and we would like your feedback...You voted - click on the poll below to view results.
