Need Pants? - January 10, 2012
Happy New Year BOSL players, we are passing on what looks like a great deal on Baseball pants suggested by Mark Flood. Mark has a contact out of NY that gets access to sell offs of various items. He can get these ball pants at incredible prices and Mark thought if possible, it would be nice to extend this deal to the guys. Who can't use a extra pair of pants! The details...
Easton regular elastic bottom S M L XL XXL MSRP $60 CDN – OUR PRICE: $28 CDN
Rawlings open bottom size 32 34 36 38 40 42 44 MRSP $80 CDN OUR PRICE: $38 CDN
Sizes and quantities are limited to how long their supply lasts. Mark has a warehouse contact in Tonawanda, NY and has these items shipped there. In order to make this worth all the time and shipping etc Mark needs to place a bulk order.
If interested you need to send MARK an email at this address mark.flood@sympatico.ca – email Mark directly please.
Our thanks to Mark for extending this deal and all the effort coordinating it.
Spare a few hours to help Big Brothers? -- Dear BOSL players
Big Brothers & Sisters will be ‘manning’ the Christmas Tree Lot at Ikea Burlington from late November until Christmas eve.
This means we need volunteers from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day from November 26th to December 24th. We will be breaking up each day into shifts and we will accommodate any schedule. Volunteer responsibilities will be to verify receipts (customers pay $20 inside, then bring receipt to the lot), give out Ikea coupons (every tree purchaser receives a $20 Ikea coupon) and help pick out and load trees. BBBS will receive $1 from every tree sold!
You will also receive unlimited hot chocolate and coffee. This is a great opportunity for Bigs/Littles, High School students, corporations, and communtiy groups looking to make a difference.
Please contact Tracey at Tracey@callbigbrothers.com for details.

MOVEMBER -- Dear BOSL Bros
It's Movember, the month formerly known as November, which is dedicated to growing moustaches and raising awareness and funds for men's health. I have joined the movement and will be donating my upper lip to the cause for 30 days. My Mo will spark conversations, and no doubt generate some laughs; all in the name of raising vital awareness and funds prostate cancer.
Why am I so passionate about men’s health?
* On average men live 4-5 years less than women
* 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime
* 25,500 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year in Canada
I invite you to support me by donating to me http://mobro.co/joeserafini. You can even go old school and write a cheque payable to “Movember Canada”, reference my name and Registration Number 1735680 and send it to:
Movember Canada, 119 Spadina Avenue, PO Box 65, Toronto, ON M5T 2T2
