Big Brothers & Sisters will be ‘manning’ the Christmas Tree Lot at Ikea Burlington from late November until Christmas eve. This means we need volunteers from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day from November 26th to December 24th. We will be breaking up each day into shifts and we will accommodate any schedule. Volunteer responsibilities will be to verify receipts (customers pay $20 inside, then bring receipt to the lot), give out Ikea coupons (every tree purchaser receives a $20 Ikea coupon) and help pick out and load trees. BBBS will receive $1 from every tree sold! You will also receive unlimited hot chocolate and coffee. This is a great opportunity for Bigs/Littles, High School students, corporations, and communtiy groups looking to make a difference.
